About Frontier Towers
Frontier Tower Associates Philippines is the Philippines’ largest cell tower infrastructure company, currently with ~5,000 towers nationwide under ownership and management, about 800 of which are built-to-suit (BTS) sites we have deployed, more than any other tower company.
We invest in, build, and operate telecommunication infrastructure with a focus on towers and related assets.
We were licensed by the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) in 2021 to build towers to meet the significant and growing need for the general public to have access to online services and platforms and to participate in the modern economy.
Frontier is a wholly owned subsidiary of Pinnacle Towers Pte. Ltd., a pan-Asian telecom infrastructure platform backed by leading global investment firm KKR.

Key Milestones
Frontier reached 500 colocations
Frontier Towers reaches 500 colocations mark on its portfolio of ~4900 sites in September 2024.
Frontier signs a sale-and-leaseback agreement with Globe
In August 2022, Frontier and Globe Telecom entered into a sale-and-leaseback transaction involving 3,529 towers worth about P45 billion.
Frontier DICT accreditation in 2021
Frontier was one of the first few independent tower companies in the Philippines in 2021 to have been accredited for the common tower program.
Frontier agreed to purchase 1000+ cell towers from Smart Communications
Frontier Towers and Smart Communications signed a sale-and-leaseback agreement in March 2023 involving 1,012 towers worth over P12 billion.
Frontier erected its 500th cell tower
Frontier successfully erected its 500th build-to-suit (BTS) tower in July 2022, over a year after we have been given certificate to operate.
